JJ Hemmer

Financial Planning Associate

JJ Hemmer is a Financial Planning Associate with Pitzl Financial. In this role, JJ helps clients in various aspects of their financial planning, including retirement planning, tax planning, investment planning, education planning, and insurance planning. In addition to helping clients directly, JJ assists and supports other members of the team stay on top of tasks and keeping the financial planning process moving forward. 

JJ studied at, and graduated from, the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Personal Finance in December of 2025. Prior to graduating, JJ interned with Pitzl Financial before joining the firm on a full-time basis. He is also a CFP® candidate, and plans to pursue the designation in the coming months. 

JJ is originally from the Milwaukee area, but now lives locally in the Twin Cities. Outside of the office, you can find JJ on a golf course, fishing on many of the great Minnesota lakes, and doing pretty much anything else that involves being outdoors.
